The centerpiece of my rebranding is a logo inspired by Puglia’s luminarie, those enchanting lights that turn our streets into a magical spectacle during festive days. I’ve chosen to weave in an element of our maritime heritage, reimagining an octopus tentacle as part of this traditional design. This logo is not just a symbol; it’s a story - of tradition, festivity, and the deep connection we share with our sea.
The new logotype marries elegance with character, employing a blend of serif and display fonts that have been meticulously edited to embody the spirit of Puglia. The inspiration comes from the drapes of clothes caressed by the Puglian breeze, each fold telling a tale of simplicity and beauty. The unique oval in the "g" of Puglia, inspired by an olive, pays homage to a symbol deeply rooted in our land’s identity.

In line with the fresh identity, Puglia Tips introduces a mascot that captures the essence of our brand - a happy, simplified octopus. Stepping away from the predictable, I’ve chosen a palette that mirrors the vivid and contrasting hues of Puglia. Moving beyond the expected blue and orange, I've chosen a more vibrant and saturated palette that truly represents the colors of our region.
From the red of our clay-rich soil to the blue and azure of our clear skies and deep seas, each color tells a part of Puglia's story. The organic pink hints at the dust covering our traditional buildings, while the saturated violet draws inspiration from the stunning bougainvillea adorning our gardens. This carefully selected palette invites you to see Puglia through a new lens, rich in contrast and full of life.
